See change the clip plane in an elevation view and about section view width and depth.
The door plan swing and panel symbolic lines exist at the floor level so if anything is above the floor level where the door is those lines well get obscured.
Instead they are cut based on the cut plane defined in the family s plan view.

I need to underlay a floor plan on an rcp so my walls show consistently on my electrical lighting plans.
Setting section view to coordination discipline will allow the section line to show in both views.
Window door families are not cut based on the cut plane defined in project views.
To adjust how the window is represented when cut in a plan view adjust the elevation of the cut plane in the family.
If the door appears then there s something obscuring it.
If your underlay orientation is set to rcp your cut plane is set below the ceiling height your top is above the ceiling and your discipline is set to architectural all of your above ceiling mep elements will not be visible.
People who are new to revit are always having issues seeing everything in a project view.
First verify that.
See check the design option settings for a view.
If the project is workshared confirm that the workset of the element is visible in all views.
Everything cut by the pink line like in the image below will display in thick lines.
