Our semi gloss poster paper has been carefully selected to provide a smooth clear photographic image whilst minimising reflectivity. The high gloss option will produce the highest shine possible. When a matte poster is best. Semi gloss has the advantage of being appropriate for posters that are intended either for framing behind glass perspex or placed on a wall in a space where you prefer less reflectivity.

High gloss and semi gloss. The less reflective semi gloss is perfect for places with intense lighting. They are a bit thicker than standard poster papers. For this reason use a bit more care when rolling poster prints made on these papers.

It keeps the images and text readable. A big benefit is that glossy and satin paper withstand handling better than other types of inkjet paper. Glossy finish helps colors pop against one another and creates the illusion of depth in images that look a little flat. The semi gloss category falls in between a high gloss finish and a zero gloss finish matte.

Posters that demand the glossy treatment. Ultrapro satin and ultrapro gloss have the look and feel like a photo lab print. Glossy images come in two primary intensity levels. Use a more economical poster paper for short term simple text based posters or graphic signs that will be viewed from more than 10 or 20 feet away.

Choose a more durable wide format poster paper roll if you plan to sell decorative photo or at prints that will be viewed up close for a number of years. If your poster is exploding with color or movement gloss is the way to go.
